Checking-in to TRUSTPLUS

It is important that you arrive at the TRUSTPLUS main reception 10-15 minutes before your scheduled admission time in order to complete any remaining paperwork.

On arrival, you will asked by our admissions team to provide us with your insurance company’s authorisation* for your treatment or your credit card details as appropriate.  Once you have signed the hospital agreement contract, a member of our friendly reception or nursing staff will escort you to your room and provide you with information on the facilities.

Please feel free to ask questions at any time during your stay with us.

What to bring with you - a quick check list:

  • Night clothes and personal toiletries
  • Any medication that you take regularly**
  • Health insurance membership documents
  • A completed claim form (if appropriate)

If you are pregnant or think you might be, please inform your consultant, anaesthetist and nursing staff.

If you are having an operation, we will advise you if it's necessary for you to stop eating and drinking before admission.

We advise you to leave any valuables, jewellery or large sums of money at home as we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to property belonging to patients or visitors.  However, there is a programmable safe in your room for your use should you need it.

* If you have health insurance, please obtain authorisation of your cover from your insurance company prior to admission and ensure that you receive a claims form or relevant documentation from them. You are personally responsible for your account at all times.

** Please check with your GP or consultant whether you need to continue taking your regular medication prior to your admission (this includes the contraceptive pill, inhalers etc).
