Mini and full face lift

As part of the aging process, our skin progressively loses its elasticity and our muscles tend to slacken, thus causing the face, neck and brow to sag and wrinkle.  This can give the face a tired appearance and make us look older.  aging of the skin of the face does not necessarily reflect the rate that the rest of our body and mind is aging and many people feel frustrated that the face they see in the mirror is not the one they feel should be there. Substantial weight loss can produce similar changes in facial appearance to those of the aging process.

Procedure Explained

A Face Lift involves the removal of skin from the neck, chin and cheek areas and is carried out in a hospital under general anaesthetic.  The procedure can take between two and three hours and will require a hospital stay of one to two nights.  A Face Lift can be combined with other procedures.  The most common of which would be a Brow Lift and Eyelid Surgery.  Other extra procedures can be done to enhance the face at the same time such as cheek bone and chin augmentation and lip enhancement.

After your surgery there is usually some bruising.  Discomfort is usually mild and can be controlled with Paracetamol. Stitches will be removed between seven to fourteen days after the operation.
