Oral Maxillofacial Sugery (OMFS)

The maxillofacial and orthodontics departments form a regional centre of expertise for facial trauma, facial deformity, skin cancer and head and neck cancer. Serving most of North West London it is one of the largest units in the country and is a core member of the North West London Cancer Network. The team treats diseases affecting the face, jaw, mouth, teeth, neck, salivary glands and skin, facial deformities, facial injuries and serious infections of the head and neck. Their work can include everything from removal of impacted teeth, dental implants and rehabilitation, trauma of the face, jaws and head and neck to skin cancer and salivary gland surgery.

The team routinely undertakes facial plastic surgery and has long-standing experience in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures from facelifts to nose, eyelid and ear surgery.
