Prior to surgery please do not have any liquids or foods. This may even be 24 hours beforehand as advised by your Consultant or at the Pre Assessment.

Any medication that you are currently on. Please check with your GP or consultant whether you need to continue taking your regular medication prior to your admission (this includes contraceptive pills, inhalers etc).

Payment for your deposit or package if you have not already made payment. (we accept debit/credit cards and cash. You can also do bank transfers). Cheques will only be accepted if they clear before you admission date.
You insurance details with authorisation if you have not already provided us with this information or a Letter of Guarantee (LOG) if you are an embassy or sponsored patient.

It's normal to feel anxious about staying in the hospital. Please know you're not alone. Our entire healthcare team is focused on your safety and well-being.
Please arrive at the TRUSTPLUS main reception 10-15 minutes before your scheduled admission time in order to complete any remaining paperwork.
The Multi Storey Car Park located at the front of the Hospital. From the car park make your way to Level 4, proceed along the main corridor to the main lifts, which will take you to Trustplus on Level 10.
You will asked by our admissions team to provide us with your insurance company's authorisation for your treatment or your credit card details as appropriate.
Once you have signed the hospital agreement contract, a member of our reception staff will escort you to your room and provide you with information on the facilities.

Please hand in your medication to the nurse and change into a hospital gown, stockings & pants.
We will also check your general well being (blood pressure, heart rate, etc) before you meet the medical team to talk you through your procedure.
We will also explain and talk to you about the anaesthetics you will have administered.
If you are pregnant or think you might be, please inform your consultant, anesthetist and nursing staff.
Our nursing and multidisciplinary staff will assist you in your day to day needs and complete your plan of care as prescribed by your consultant.
Each day you will be cared for by a nurse in your team, who will be your named nurse for that span of duty.
The nursing staff wear different colours and styles of uniforms according to their grades, including ID badge showing their name and role.
All nursing staff report to a Ward Manager who is responsible for the management of the ward.
If you have any concerns whatsoever during your stay, please feel free to let the Ward Manager, Matron or General Manager know so that they may resolve them without delay.
If you require a special diet please let us know on your arrival.
Our range of specialist menus meet most dietary requirements from therapeutic to special diets, including vegetarian, halal and kosher.
A member of the catering staff will visit you daily to discuss your menu choice and a dietitian is available for advice on individual diets.
We are flexible in our visiting hours, however it is essential that patients get adequate rest. Please avoid visiting between 2pm and 4pm.
All visitors must report to the nurses station of their presence.
We have 2 fold-up beds available for visitors to stay overnight, under certain conditions.
This is at the Ward Manager's discretion and subject to availability of the beds.
Your consultant will dictate your plan of care and discharge criteria, along with a follow-up appointment, if required.

Prior to discharge, the nursing and multidisciplinary staff will assist you with any issues you may experience when you return home, such as access to rest, hygiene and toilet facilities.
A private ambulance can be arranged to take you home. Please ask the nurse or ward receptionist to provide you with a quote for the cost. This will either be payable directly to the ambulance provider or to us.
Please note that health care insurance companies do not pay for take-home drugs after the first 48 hours. If you are prescribed any medicines for at home use we will advise you of the cost so you may decide if you wish to purchase them from us. The cost is payable on discharge.
An additional visit may be required to have your wound checked or stitches removed. If appropriate, we will arrange a follow-up appointment to our outpatient department for you and send a note to your GP informing him about your stay and treatment in hospital.
